What is the difference between an infrared sauna and a traditional sauna?
The experience of an infrared sauna is similar to sunbathing, which gives you a radiant heat that is all your own. Infrared light is part of the suns invisible spectrum of light that has the ability to penetrate human tissue. Infrared heat therapy uses the characteristics of infrared light to heat the body directly rather than by ambient air temperature.
Unlike sunbathing, infrared heat therapy is completely healthy and safe. You can fully relax in an infrared sauna without fear of a sunburn.
Infrared saunas increase your body's core temperature resulting in a much deeper, more detoxifying sweat, resulting in the release of many toxins.
Conventional saunas heat the ambient air with steam, which can often be unbearably hot and cause you to only sweat from the surface of the tissue. The steam can also make it difficult to breathe! On the other hand, infrared saunas use a soothing and dry infrared heat that is extremely comfortable and relaxing.

INFRARED SAUNA BENEFITS
