What is a PCA Chemical Peel?

So What is the Down Time on PCA Peels?

About 3-5 days after treatment, you will notice some flaking of the skin. Your skin might feel dry or tight. Moisturize as per your dermatologist’s recommendation several times throughout the day and avoid exfoliating for 10 days after your peel. Don’t pick or pull at flaking skin as this could lead to an infection or scarring.

• You should use sunblock after getting a skin peel, and avoid sun exposure for up to two weeks. You should avoid working out, sweating, or swimming for up to 48 hours after a peel.
• You should also avoid the tanning bed for 3 weeks.
